What Style do you like
The AGA cooker is a design classic and as such will fit well with most environments great design will look great no matter what!.
There are 3 distinct AGA designs, available in 2 different sizes. You have a choice of a 2 oven AGA or a larger 4 oven AGA, and the choice of a 1950s standard AGA, with it's very traditional looks, a 1960s Deluxe AGA which looks similar to a modern AGA and a modern Deluxe AGA.

There's an AGA fuel type to suit every kitchen
When choosing what way you want to run your AGA you ned to consider both what way you will be using the AGA and whether it is possible to use or build a flue for the AGA. Oil, Gas and solid fuel all require a very good flue to work. Electric is more flexible for positioning. In most modern houses the kitchen is the room most used the fact that the AGA is on the whole time, and always ready to cook on, keeps that room comfortable to come into whenever you like. The eControl AGA works on the same principle but at a lower level. The 13amp AGA can also be combined with solar panels to store the energy being produced. So there is something to suit all ideas
Oil
Oil has traditionally been the most common type of AGA in Ireland. It is well understood by everyone. You require a good flue clearing the ridge of the house, an oil line to the side of the AGA with the oil tank being higher than the kitchen floor.
Gas
Gas can be LPG or Natural gas. There are 3 flue types a conventional flue, similar to that required for oil, a balanced flue going on an outside wall and a power flue AGA which is pretty flexible where it goes. It should be noted that we can supply and fit Gas AGAs but we are not Gas registered so you need your own Gas engineer to commission.
13amp Electric
A13amp electric AGA works in the same way and has all the same benefits as oil and gas and is very flexible about where it can be positioned It can be plugged into a socket but a directly wired fused spur is recommended.
eControl AGA
The eControl AGA also works on the heat storage principle and the ovens are cast iron giving the same cooking benefits of any other AGA type. It has an eco mode which allows some heat to radiate into the room and it has faster heat up times on both the hobs and ovens.
